STEP 1 : Choose the Wick & Prepare the Container
- Select Your Wick: Choose between a wood or cotton wick.
- For a cotton wick: Attach a glue dot to the bottom of the metal wick holder.
- For a wood wick: Place it in the center of the metal wood wick holder and apply a glue dot to the bottom.
2. Prepare the Container: Position the wick in the center of your chosen container (jar, mold, or coconut shell)
- For a cotton wick: Use the metal wick holder to secure it in place.
- For a wood wick: Simply place it in the center.
STEP 2 : Melt the Wax
- Microwave the Wax: Place a 10 oz bag of wax in the microwave. Heat on high for 2 minutes.
- Check and Continue Heating: After 2 minutes, check the wax. If not fully melted, continue heating in 30-second increments until liquid.
- Caution: Do not heat for more than 4-5 minutes total to avoid fire risk.
STEP 3 : Add the Dye
Mix in the Dye: Once the wax is liquid, add a dye block for color. Stir gently to help the dye melt.
STEP 4 : Add the Fragrance
Incorporate Fragrance: After the dye melts, add a bottle of fragrance. Stir until fully mixed.
STEP 5 : Pour the Wax
- Fill the Container: Carefully pour the melted wax into your prepared container.
- Let It Set: Allow the wax to cool and set for 12-14 hours.
- Caution: Handle the hot wax with care.
